This is not a weight loss guide

This is a self-improvement story with a science-fiction twist

Do you believe in the multiverse?

On the way to losing 100 pounds I was in a car accident, went through a divorce, and lost both my parents.

It felt like the universe was doing everything it could to hold me back. I decided to use that as fuel. If my destiny was to remain fat then I would cheat fate by reaching my goal weight at all costs.

The key to bringing your dreams into fruition isn’t just to be hopeful and positive about the future. You also need to fear what your life will become if you don’t take action.

Feeling like you're on the road to nowhere? What if you are? Try setting your sights on your current future timeline and smash it to pieces. Then by default a parallel universe will take it’s place. Once that old continuum has been shattered, your vision of a perfectly content and fulfilling future will become crystal clear. What you want out of life will start to feel less intangible and start to feel more inevitable.

Odds are you’re most likely living a very unremarkable life and destined for more of the same, like most other people. So challenge fate head on and rewrite your destiny. Become the most successful of all your “variants” across the multiverse.

Everything rewarding exists outside of your comfort zone. Stepping outside of that comfort zone is like stepping into a parallel universe. A very content and fulfilling alternate reality where anything is possible.

This method can be applied to anything

This book could have just as easily been called...

“How I Built My Own Successful Business From Scratch By Breaking The Fourth Dimension”

or...

“How I Improved My Dating Life and Finally Found Love By Breaking The Fourth Dimension”

The possibilities are endless once you adopt this paradigm

When you hit rock bottom and everything feels completely hopeless, the most empowering thing you can do is challenge fate head on. Whether you actually believe in fate or not, it doesn’t matter. Live life as if it’s real and it’s doing everything in its power to hold you in place, then resist and fight back with all that you have.

If you are your own worst enemy then your future will continue to be a perpetual series of stalemates and draws because you are evenly matched. Imagine arm wrestling with your clone.

However, if you make an adversary out of something much more powerful than yourself, and you spar with it for awhile, then you’ll soon find out what you’re really made of. It’s not about landing blows as much as it’s about being able to take hit after hit and still remain standing. Fate hits hard, but you’ll no longer be your own worst enemy. The worst version of yourself is going to throw in the towel once it see’s what the best version of you is capable of. The old you will step out of the way and make way for the new you.

“We're here to put a dent in the universe. Otherwise why else even be here?”

-Steve Jobs

Great quote, but I think that aiming to put a dent in the universe is setting your sights too low. Your goal should be nothing short of punching a hole through time and space. Anyone can put a dent in the universe. So how do you punch a hole through time and space? You do it by rejecting your current ill-fated future and becoming the absolute best version of yourself. One that was never destined to exist in the first place. That’s how you break the mold.

It was until after I wrote this book that I first learned of the word antifragile, but that’s actually what this book is all about.

Becoming antifragile is more than just “whatever doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”

Becoming antifragile means “whatever doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger, wiser, and more resilient”

You’ll no longer look at hardships and setbacks in life as obstacles that you need to overcome to achieve your goals. You will learn to welcome hardships, setbacks, mishaps, and even catastrophes because they can teach you valuable lessons. Those lessons learned will benefit you in the long run.

Simply put, this is my version of a different take on the story A Christmas Carol by a Charles Dickens. Much like Ebenezer Scrooge I was forced to take a long hard look at my past, present, and future. It was the vision of Scrooge’s future that troubled him the most. He was shown what would become of him if he did not change his ways. His biggest mistake was treating the people in his life so poorly, whereas my biggest mistake was treating my own body so poorly over the years. After seeing what the future had in store for me, I went out of my way to avoid it.

The stories in each chapter of this book center around me simply trying to achieve my weight loss goal, however I believe the unique mindset that was born from my experience can be applied to a great deal more in life than just health and fitness.

Maybe it's not just one area of your life that needs improving. Perhaps you're due for a complete lifestyle makeover. If you're struggling to find the motivation you need to make those changes, this book is definitely for you. In fact, the more areas you are lacking in, the more its message will resonate. This book was written with those in mind who are feeling like they are at the end of their rope. The ones whose lives are a complete disaster from top to bottom. The worse off you are now, the more impressive your success story will be.

I want to see you take this paradigm to the next level and use it to accomplish even more than I have.
